Two of my three children have graduated from MISD, and I've seen firsthand the district's positive impact. Now, with my youngest child having four years remaining, I want to ensure he receives the absolute best education possible. That's why I'm voting YES on Prop A. This funding will support our excellent teachers, essential security improvements, and competitive staffing – all while keeping dollars local. I’m voting for our children's futures! — Amanda Weightman
I urge you to join me in voting YES for Prop A. We chose to move to this school district after a poor experience in another district for our special needs child, who is now thriving in high school. Our older child, now excelling in college, was given the opportunity to participate in a fantastic engineering curriculum. We need to keep our quality teachers who allow our children to be the best they can be. This money will stay with the district instead of being subject to recapture and will allow us to make necessary security improvements and stay competitive for hiring and retaining quality staff. — Danielle Scheiner

I have seen that over the past 4 years, the leadership of MISD set as priorities fiscal responsibility and transparency to the public, integrity in its processes and leadership of its staff and students. PROP A is this community’s opportunity to support these efforts after the state has failed to allow us to maintain our solid status in a competitive market for personnel. The ability to continue to recruit and retain our fine staff and keep class size optimal is just one reason why MISD is so desirable. Please vote YES for Prop A! Linda Porten — Linda Porten
I am voting Yes! because I believe in our students. I believe in our people. I believe in the good that we can do together. I am a mother of 4, and I want what's best for my kids. I chose Montgomery ISD for my kids to thrive, and be in a safe, welcoming, and great educational environment. I believe that the reason this place is so amazing is because everyone is working together. Since moving here, I have been blessed to meet, and engage with so many teachers, staff, and community members that love and believe in my kids. I am voting Yes! to make sure that MISD continues to succeed. — Hannah McKinnies

I will be voting for prop A. MISD needs the additional funding to keep the programs, teachers, and staff to continue to make MISD a premiere district for the parents and community of Montgomery. — Calvin Waida

I vote no on nearly every tax increase, but after hearing the facts, I am voting yes on this one. Our district will get to keep all of the funds. Also, the likelihood that we will get more recapture of our tax money increases. If we don’t do this, our district will not be able to compete with other districts for the best teachers. — Megan Schaak
Montgomery kids deserve more! We need to vote YES! — Jen Marshall
I am proud to support this initiative to invest in our schools and students. Montgomery ISD works hard to give our students the best possible education and I want to continue to help fill the gap in funding so we can retain the best educators for our students.
